Dedication : To my dear friend Rachel for her birthday (that was Monday - >dies< - sorry it's late Rachel; hope you likey) See? I stopped punching those damn tanks and robots and made you a present. Use the Reaction command wisely and carefully. Knowing you, it'll be put to good use however.
Sketch/Lineart : ?? Hours - Red and Grey Lead, Micron Pen on Sketchbook Paper Colors/Effects : 10-15 Hours - OpenCanvas4 and Paint Shop Pro 9
Subject : Axel from Kingdom Hearts:CoM and Kingdom Hearts 2
Comments : There are a few things that bother me, but as a whole, I am very pleased with the outcome of this piece.
Axel came out looking fantastic - especially in the sketch so I continued it.
The weapons killed me - that's all I have to say on their part.
I tried to go all out on the coloring for this one. Not necessarily the way I envisioned it, but pretty close.
The boxers. Ah, the boxers. Just use the REACTION COMMAND. That's all I have to say about that. (oh and I played the game and studied the reaction command to get it juuuust right). Almost was gonna put a menu in the lower corner but decided against it. I actually had other ideas for them - including a Chibi Roxas with a sea-salt icecream. ^_^
The background is mine as well. Found tons of pictures of fire and painted it and did all kinds of cool effects and whatnot. Yay.
Copyright : Axel and other KH:CoM/KH2 characters belong to Disney and SquareEnix; Reaction Command copyright them too, but will be taken full advantage of by everyone else

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
